Ramsey Keeps Suprising Me - Arsene Wenger

"He was phenomenal," said Arsenal boss Wenger. "He keeps surprising me. He has matured as a player and as a person.
"He can still develop. When you see the improvement in him in the last two years then why should he stop now?"
Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff as a 17-year-old in 2008 and played against his former club in a goalless FA Cup draw at Ninian Park a year later.
He spent a month back with the Bluebirds on loan in January 2011 as he recovered from a broken leg suffered in February 2010.
But this was the first time he had returned in a league game and the Wales international received a warm reception before kick-off.
After opening the scoring with a first-half header, Ramsey was applauded by sections of the home crowd - and some Cardiff fans sung his name following a second strike towards the end.
The 22-year-old did not celebrate but responded by tapping both hands against his head - a Cardiff celebration known by supporters as the Ayatollah.
"It's a special pressure when you come back to your home town," said Wenger. "He couldn't deal with that a few years ago.

Steven Gerrard could become a centre-back - Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard and manager Brendan Rodgers

Gerrard, 33, has been an influential midfielder at Anfield for more than a decade but Rodgers says the player could adapt to prolong his career.
"I look at Steven and I think he can play as a number two centre-half later in his career," the Reds boss said.
You play against teams where they've got one up [front] and I think he can play as a right-sided centre-half."
Gerrard signed a new two-year contract in the summer that will see him stay at Liverpool beyond his 35th birthday.
The Liverpool and England captain, who made his club debut in 1998, has spent his whole career at Anfield and has won the Champions League, a Uefa Cup, two FA Cups and three League Cups so far.
And on the day that Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs turned 40, Rodgers outlined his plans for how Gerrard could extend his own playing time in the game by changing positions in the future.
"[He could] build the game from behind," said Rodgers. "How he passes the ball is as good as anyone in the world, short and long.
"So it's a possibility that he could go on, but it will all be determined by fitness.
"He is 34 at the end of this season, and I look at his fitness and I look at how he is playing and he is as fit as he has ever been. He is looking after himself.
"That player he was 10 years ago, dynamic and making those long bursting runs, of course that goes out of your game.
"Like you see with Ryan Giggs, you adapt and change."

5 tips to spice up your sex life

Amongst other things, a healthy sex life is about understanding your body and its needs, knowing which forms of contraception are right for you and being able to effectively protect and pleasure yourself and your partner. Here's how to spice up your sex life and achieve ultimate satisfaction.

1. In the mood

It is important to be able to read your partner so you are able to tell when your partner is ready for some good loving. This is where body language comes in, as it’s one of the best indicators of a person’s mood. For example, when a woman seems fidgety and keeps stroking her neck or simply touching herself without being aware; that could be an indicator that she’s “in the mood”, while for men it could be inadvertently displaying their crotch. Always remember that these are simply indicators and it's not always guaranteed, so always approach the other person with respect, love and understanding.

2. Creating the right atmosphere

Being in the mood has a lot to do with the ambience, which is often just as important as the act itself. The key to creating the right atmosphere is to think about the five senses; touch, sight, smell, taste and hearing. Try to create an atmosphere that appeals to all of them and excite your partner on different levels.

3. Foreplay

The build-up is a very important part, so pay attention to your partner and if necessary take things slow so your partner may catch up. Make the most of those erogenous zones – they are there for a reason. Fool around with your partner and you will soon figure out what works best for you both. A sensual massage is a good place to start and to make it that much better, maybe try some massage lube. Durex Play™ Lubes offer a variety of choices, including the Play™ Aloe Vera which offers a silky smooth sensual treat that is gentle on the skin and suitable for any time or place.

4. Masturbation

We all do it! Okay, maybe not, but an important thing to remember about masturbation is that it needn’t be a solo sport nor a shameful one! Include it in your ‘fun sex time’ with your partner to be enjoyed by the both of you.  Don’t be shy to show your partner your favourite techniques and encourage them to share theirs with you. The more you share and communicate with each other, the better the experience will be.

5. Condoms

Condoms have become more advanced and can now add to your sexual pleasure and even help to spice things up. Both sexes are definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to the variety of condoms available in the Durex range, many of which are made to add to your pleasure while protecting you. For those who are new to condom use, the Durex Easy On range, is shaped in a manner to make it easy to roll on and  wear, while Durex Featherlite is ultra-fine for enhanced sensitivity and Durex Pleasuremax offers uniquely positioned ribs and raised dots for extra pleasure in all the right places.

MY BREAST IMPLANTS HANDICAPPED ME - Heidi Montag

The former reality TV star had her boobs reduced from an F cup to a C cup four weeks ago, after her larger implants caused her severe back and neck pain, numbness in her arms and prevented her from doing everyday tasks.

She is quoted by the MailOnline as saying: "Over the past few years my implants have handicapped me, I have not been able to do a lot of things.

"Over the past nine months I have not been able to do laundry, or look after my dogs or clean my house and I have had to stop working out because my injuries are so severe I cannot even do simple things like rowing or running.

"I have been limited in my everyday life and the last few months especially have been so uncomfortable and in pain that it has really been taking a toll on my life and my mood."

Heidi underwent 10 surgical procedures in a single day in 2010, when she was just 23 - including breast implants and a nose job - but now says she wishes she had never gone under the knife.

'You can never really take it back'

She said: "I definitely regret the surgeries that I have had over the years, I think I was so young and in such an unstable situation in my life with so much going on and so much pressure.

"I listened to what other people said and let myself become really insecure and I had a doctor that made it sound really easy and a quick fix and it ended up being a hard road and I inflicted a lot of pain, mentally and physically, on myself.

"If I had to go back and do it again I definitely wouldn't and I would not recommend that.

"Once you get surgery you can never be the same size you were, you can never really take it back so it is something you need to think about seriously.

"I wish that before I got my implants I had gone to a spine specialist and seen other doctors and consulted with them and got opinions of what size breasts I should have had and what my body could support."

Now happier with her body, Heidi is currently holidaying with her husband Spencer Pratt in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to mark five years of their marriage.

10 signs of an abusive relationship

Constant putdowns. If your partner ridicules you in front of other people, implying that you are stupid, uninformed and that your opinion on things is irrelevant, the behaviour is abusive.

Who was that who looked at you? Extreme jealousy and possessiveness is often a sign of an abusive relationship. If you feel as if you are constantly being watched and constantly questioned about everyone you spoke to, all your movements, chances are your relationship is abusive.

Demure and downtrodden. If you find yourself growing quieter and rather saying nothing at all than saying something that could unleash a torrent of abuse, you are in a danger zone. The same goes for starting to do things purely in order to avoid another verbal or physical attack. The sad thing, though, is that it is not your behaviour causing the abuse, so changing your behaviour won't put a stop to it.

All on my own. If you find that your partner is constantly criticising your family and friends, does not make them feel welcome in the home, and makes it more and more difficult for you to see them, the isolation process, which is so typical of the abusive relationship, has begun.

Last minute cancellations. You find that it happens more and more often that your partner provokes a scene or does something to effectively prevent you from attending social occasions to which you, or the two of you, have been invited.

Not a cent to be spent. Financial control is another form of abuse. Obviously unbridled spending on unnecessary luxuries cannot be justified. But if one of the partners is forced to hand over their entire salary, or ask for every little thing that is needed, or is not given any spending money, or is made to account for every single cent that is spent, it could be seen as abusive.

Temper tantrums. No one is always in a good mood, but there is a difference between feeling rather miffed and losing control, shouting, screaming and breaking things. If your partner is destroying your property, the message is clear: You could be next. If you are unable to raise even small issues without unleashing a torrent of abuse, there is a problem.

Violent assaults. Whether this happens once a year or every week, if there are violent episodes in your relationship, the relationship is abusive. Being bruised, battered and assaulted by your partner is not acceptable. No one ever deserves to be treated in this manner, whatever the reasons the batterer chooses to give. It is not your behaviour that causes this – if you do some research, you will more than likely find that there is history of this kind of behaviour long before you were ever on the scene.

Your children are quiet and withdrawn. Children who live in a home where the parental relationship is physically or emotionally abusive, quickly learn that it is better not to attract any attention. They are often withdrawn and overcompliant, and sometimes develop behavioural problems or psychosomatic symptoms as a resault of the stress they're under.

I WAS TOLD I'LL NEVER BE A STAR - Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford was told by an unknown movie executive that he didn't have what it takes to make it in the industry at the start of his career.

The 71-year-old actor - whose career has spanned six decades and includes high profile roles in Indiana Jones and the original Star Wars trilogy - was told he didn't have the star quality to become successful after beginning his career as an extra in Dead Heat On A Merry Go Round.

Speaking to talk show host Conan O'Brien on Wednesday, Harrison said: "I was in a contract at Columbia Pictures for $150 a week which back then in those days was still only $150 a week. It was ridiculous.

"My first movie role was a bell boy, a bell man in a hotel. I delivered a note or a telegram or something to James Coburn and my lines were, 'Paging Mr Jones, Mr Jones, paging Mr Jones' and he raised his hand and I went over and said, 'Mr Jones? Room 204?' and he said, 'Yes' and I gave him the note and that was my job.

'"There was a guy that was in charge of what they call the new talent programme and he called me into his office and he said, 'Sit down kid, I saw the rushes from yesterday, you're never going to make it in the business just forget about it.' He said, 'The first movie Tony Curtis was ever in he delivered a bag of groceries. You took one look at that guy and you said that's a movie star.'

"And I leaned across his desk and said, 'I thought you were supposed to think that was a grocery delivery boy.' He said, 'Get out of my office,' which I was happy to do. I didn't last much longer with them."

Harrison was spotted by the same executive over 15 years later in a restaurant after he had found great success on the big screen.

The screen legend garnered "great pleasure" when the executive apologised for his comments by sending a message to his table.

Harrison said: "Around 15 years later I was in a commissary at some studio and a waiter came over to me with a little silver tray and there was a business card on it. I picked up the business card and written on it was 'I missed my bet' and I turned it over and it was the name of the guy and much to my great, immediate pleasure, it still gives me a little bit of pleasure now - I looked around and I couldn't figure out which one he was."

Boko Haram kills 24 in two separate attacks

Suspected Boko Haram militants killed 24 people in two separate attacks, eyewitnesses said on Saturday, just as the military vowed to ramp up security over Christmas.
Seven fishermen were ambushed and killed in the first attack in Baga, a fishing community on Lake Chad in Borno state, one of three in the northeast of the country under emergency rule since May this year.
Seventeen people died in a separate attack on Thursday, other eyewitnesses said, when gunmen in pick-up trucks torched more than 100 shops and vehicles in the Sabon Gari area of the Damboa district, 90 kilometres (56 miles) from the state capital, Maiduguri.
There was no immediate confirmation of either attack from the military or local authorities.
